1. The approach to Chelfham Station.

2. Visitors can view the restored station both inside and outside along the rebuilt platforms.

3. The down platform (left) was restored in 2016 with a new fence and replica poster boards and advertising signs.

4. This unsightly lean-to extension was added in the 1940's when the station was "Chelfham Station Bungalow".

5. Plans are now underway which will enable the removal of this extension to reveal the newly restored original station building in all its glory. meanwhile, some colourful plants by the doorway provide a welcome display for visitors. To the left is the partially restored Chelfham Signal Cabin which (once the extension is removed) will be relocated to its original position next to the station building.

6. Volunteers have created a modest shop for the sales of pre-owned/donated books, sales of which help to raise funds for the restoration at Chelfham.

7. Visitors are welcome to explore the trackbed and also woodland walk. Shown here a view of the route to the upper path through the woods.

8. These steps have recently been constructed to provide access between the trackbed and the upper woodland walk.
