Time for another social get together to blow away the winter blues

Happy New Year Everyone

Christmas is over along with the New Year celebrations and hype and things start to get quiet, very cold and at the time of writing very wet and windy. So let's have another get together in a warm and welcoming pub.

It was generally agreed that our pre-Christmas meal went well and, as I haven't had time to go and visit other options, this will be the venue again this time. I have asked for tables in the main bar area though rather than the area we had before which had a rather low ceiling.

As before, to ensure smooth running on the day we will need to confirm numbers as soon as possible and, as we are anticipating a good turn-out again, the staff at the Cricketers have asked that our meals are pre-ordered nearer the time so they can prepare for us in advance.

You don't have to decide what you would like to eat right now though as I will be emailing further details nearer the time to all those interested in joining us.

All members, guests and visitors are welcome.
