Unique Photo Charter Event this summer

Join us for a Unique Photo Charter Event with Peter Pan on the Leighton Buzzard Railway Saturday 22nd June.

Organised by our Event Manager,
his experience features the Kerr Stuart No. 4256, 0-4-0 saddle tank 'Peter Pan'
with freight haulage and two trains running for photo shoots
plus other shed visits not normally available.

Our members may well already be aware that Peter Pan was the first steam loco to haul a passenger train from Woody Bay.  We will meet up at Pages Park Station at 11:00 am ready to depart at 11:30 am.  The train will then travel along the line to the Clay Pipe pub are for photo shoot opportunities and refreshments.  We will then travel to the double arches up the new extension where the engine will run around and take us back to Stonehenge Works Station.  Here the loco will be uncoupled and there will be more opportunities for photos including with freight working etc.  The train will travel back and return us to Pages Park.  We have an offer of visiting loco sheds at Pages Park and not normally open sheds at Stonehenge storage and restoration sheds.  All-in-all the event should be approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Food is not provided but may be available from local outlets
eg at the pub/cafe and snacks at the station.

Find out more about the Leighton Buzzard Railway on their website https://www.buzzrail.uk/.

The railway is closed on the day of our event so we can carry out our activities.
