Auction of Two Paintings - UPDATED

May 10th - Two paintings by sealed-bid auction.

The L&BRT has been given two desirable pieces of framed artwork. These are offered for sale by auction to raise funds for future expansion of the L&BR

The first is a print of a painting by Terence Cuneo titled ‘Ffestiniog Workhorses’.  The print is 22” x 17” and the frame 31 ½” x 28 ½”. Signed by the man himself – Terence Cuneo and is number 198 of 850.

The second is a painting in oils titled ‘Lynton & Lynmouth Station 1934’ showing ‘Yeo’ at the platform with driver Arthur Turner. Overall 24” x 19” (The successful bidder can decide which fund benefits from the bid)

These are offered by sealed bid auction which is open until Sunday 19th June 2022.  You can bid for either or both if you wish!.

UPDATE - The following text was appended on 5th October:

The print of a painting by Terence Cuneo titled ‘Ffestiniog Workhorses’ has not sold and has now been passed to Great Central Railwayana Auctions for inclusion within one of their future auction sales.

We can confirm that the painting titled ‘Lynton & Lynmouth Station 1934’ has been sold by the L&BR.
