November Working Weekend 22nd – 24th

More Working Weekend Photos from Sunday - this time from Nigel Thompson

The tasks were to remove and dispose of several overhanging and dead trees along the embankment sides above Hednacott. Some trees needed pulling and winching to keep them from falling down the embankment towards Hednacott.

Once again our thanks to all those who took part in the Working Weekend

5. The bonfire below the embankment went well.

6. Martyn Budd uses the log-grabber attachment on the excavator to remove the recently felled tree trunks.

7. The Fordson tractor proved useful winching trees towards the L&B trackbed away from the embankment side.

8. This dead tree was felled away from Hednacott, back onto the L&B trackbed.
