The underframe is under construction at the FR due for delivery in June.

1. Bits from the roof of the new workshop were found to be damaging various items of paintwork. This has been fixed by cladding the ceiling in plastic sheet.

The sole bars have been completed and the side sections have been trial fitted to them. These are now ready for everything else to be erected on to them.

All the side and end sections are built and await paint and varnish.

All 3rd Class seats are finished and varnished, all the roof and internal panels are painted ready for assembly. 1st Class seats and interior work is about 80% finished

2. & 3. All the doors are being assembled now.

4. Once painting and varnishing is completed final assembly can commence
